2018 Exhibit Booth Registration & Information
The 2018 NMEA Conference/Clinic and Expo is Wednesday through Friday, November 14-16. NMEA’s Conference headquarters and Exhibits will once again be in the Embassy Suites in downtown Lincoln. Booth registration will begin Monday, July 2.
Our Conference will generate the interest and attendance of over 700 high school students who participate in the All-State Band, Choir, Orchestra, or Jazz Band. Over the past several years, our attendance numbers have been very consistent. The 2017 NMEA Conference saw a total of over 1,400 NMEA members registered – along with almost 300 NAfME college students and over 200 Tri-M students. The total registered attendance for 2017 included over 2,300 participants! NMEA remains proud that approximately 80% of Nebraska’s music educators are registered for our annual conference!
NMEA’s Conference/Clinic includes a wide variety of activities. Among those are in-service workshops, clinic groups, concerts, meetings, and – of course – exhibits. The exhibit venue provides NMEA members various resource information including materials, equipment, instruments, student travel, and fundraising ideas. NMEA Expo exhibits give our music educators the opportunity within the school year to view YOUR information.
It is important to know that exhibit set-up will start no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14- with all exhibits “in place & ready to go” by 2:45 p.m. TENTATIVE exhibit venue hours are as follows: Wednesday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - Noon and from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. (exhibits are closed over the lunch hour to give our exhibitors a chance to relax and recharge...lunch is "on your own") and Friday morning from 9 a.m. - noon. Exhibit tear-down will occur Friday, from noon - 2:00 p.m.
