Remote Learning Resources

NMEA wants to do all it can to support teachers during this health crisis.  If you should find yourself having to teach remotely, we are beginning a list of sources that may be of help.  Please also feel free to contact us if you need any additional help and we will do our best.  Collaboration and cooperation are just two of the great things we learn from a great music education - let us know if you hear of any great resources we can share with the membership.  Keep in mind to check with your administration to make sure there are not any restrictions for your students in using these resources.

Resources:

NAfME

In response to COVID-19 closing PreK-12 and university campuses across the country, NAfME is providing free access to NAfME Academy for any professors needing additional resources for their undergraduate students studying to become music educators.

NAfME Academy offers dozens of hours of peer-reviewed, professional development webinars specifically developed for music educators by music educators. After viewing a webinar and completing a brief quiz (75% or higher), a certificate of completion will be generated. Click here to learn more.
